Preliminary for Schools is a two-year course, which gives students step-by-step advice and strategies on how best to approach exam tasks, so they have an opportunity to put the advice into practice on the page. Our books introduce ‘learning to learn’ tips so students can see what they can do themselves outside of the classroom to progress, and their abilities to think, form, express and justify personal opinions are developed further.

At the end of this course students take the TET (Together English Test) and/or the Cambridge English Preliminary for Schools Exam (B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference). All 4 skills are tested at this level.
