We are excited that you have considered joining us on this exciting learning journey.

Course Overview

Movers is an engaging and entertaining course which builds a solid foundation in English to prepare students for exam success, develops their global skills so they become empowered 21st century learners and makes learning meaningful by inspiring them to learn about the world with international culture texts, stories and videos. Through this course, we support our students’ social and emotional wellbeing, and we foster collaboration. The new grammar structures are presented in humorous cartoons, and they feature in the Team Up! tasks which foster global skills and teamwork.

The Beehive syllabus aligns with the Cambridge English Qualifications for Schools and students will be ready to sit the A1 Movers by the end of the academic year.

Leaning Objectives

The Movers course aims to establish a robust English foundation for exam success, incorporating a structured grammar and vocabulary syllabus. It emphasizes extensive grammar presentation and functional language practice, fostering effective communication in real-life situations. Through activities encouraging creativity and critical thinking, students engage in evaluating tasks and projects. The course provides abundant opportunities for listening and speaking English, both individually and in groups, nurturing confidence in oral communication. Reading practice is carefully graded, with activities gradually escalating in difficulty across diverse texts.

English educators

Educators

Our teachers possess a minimum qualification of a B.A. in English and undergo ongoing training, including programs by the British Council and Cambridge University. The team is carefully selected for high expertise, ensuring excellence. Parents can expect to foster a productive and friendly relationship with their child’s teacher, who keeps them consistently informed and updated.

Method of Assessment

Each unit provides self-evaluation sections which encourage students to look back through the unit and decide how well they meet each lesson objective. Self-evaluation is useful to develop learner autonomy. Their performance is also assessed through vocabulary tests, unit tests and progress tests. At the end of the academic year, there is an end-of-year test (TET Together English Test)  used to report on the students’ overall progress of the course level. Students also have the opportunity to take an external examination through the British Council, called Young Learner Exams – Movers.

At the end of the academic year, students will be awarded a Certificate of Attainment from Together English Language Centre. The TET certificate will be endorsed by our Academic Director.
